Accommodation in Borgholm during Midsummer
In connection with the festival area, this year we are offering a festival campsite (18+) in a designated part of the area at Kapelludden camping.
Age limit 18+
At the festival campsite, an 18-year age limit will apply. You need to be 18 years old at check-in. This applies to everyone in the party who will be staying, and identification will be taken from everyone at check-in. It is not enough for one person in the party to be 18 years old.
At the rest of the campsite and all cabins, the normal age limit applies (turning 23 years old in 2026).
Camping site during midsummer
- Each camping site can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. If your party is more than 4 people, you will need to book an additional site.
- Only allowed to have en accommodation unit per plot: tent, caravan or motorhome (two tents not allowed, regardless of size)
- Military tents, party tents or similar are not allowed.
- Living in the car is not permitted.
- Only one car per booked plot. If you have more than one car, they will be directed to parking areas outside the campsite.
- Toilet trailers will be displayed in the area as a complement to the existing service building.
IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BOOK
Find out how long your equipment is: if it's a caravan, it's the length without the hitch, if it's a motorhome, it's the total length, and if it's a tent, it's how long it is at its longest point (without the ropes).
This is so that you will be assigned a space that is large enough to comply with fire safety regulations..

NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY BOOK THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF 3 DAYS, but you do not have to use the entire period.

Cancellation
When adding cancellation protection at the time of booking (325 SEK):
If cancelled more than 40 days before arrival, everything paid will be refunded except for a cancellation fee of SEK 825.
If there are less than 40 days left until arrival, cancellation protection only applies in the event of death, illness or serious accident affecting you, your spouse,
partner, family or fellow traveler. Call-up to the military or civil defense. You must be able to prove your disability with a certificate from, for example, a doctor or authority.
Without cancellation protection:
No refunds will be made upon cancellation, regardless of the reason.
About the festival – Midsummer Festival
The Midsummer Festival 2026, June 19-20, is organized by RIFF Borgholm and is one of Öland's largest festivals, which in 2025 exceeded 13,000 visitors during the Midsummer weekend.
In 2026, the festival will move to Mejerivik in Borgholm.
