Outdoor pool on Öland with pool bar

During high season there are two outdoor pools, one of which is for our youngest visitors.
Visiting our outdoor pools and The pool bar is free. Between dips in the pool, you can sunbathe comfortably in the comfortable sun loungers that you can borrow free of charge.
You must be 12 years old and able to swim if you wish to visit us without an adult. The outdoor pool opens for the season depending on the weather, normally in early June.

Öland's largest bathhouse

Borgholms Badhus, located in the middle of Kapelludden Camping, has activities for everyone in the family. 25-meter pool, water slide, sauna and hot tub with sea view. In the gym you will find: cross trainers, exercise bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, strength training machines and free weights.

Free training at Kapelludden

During the summer, various free training sessions are offered several times a week. For current sessions and times see calendar here.

Playground for the children

Kapelludden's playground is close to the beach and there is plenty of fun for all playful children. Among other things, toddler swings, eagle's nest, swing swing, slide and a brand new climbing net. The pirate ship playground is a few hundred meters from the campsite. During the autumn of 2024, we will replace parts of the playground.

Functional outdoor gym

Just outside Kapelluddens Camping, right by the activity park, there is an outdoor gym with machines for all muscle groups. A perfect place to finish the run!

Bicycle rental on Öland

We have 3-speed Pilen bicycles that you can rent. There are also various accessories to rent such as bicycle bags and bicycle trailers. You can borrow a helmet. You can find the bicycle rental at the Reception.

Beach & swimming in Borgholm on Öland

We have a small sandy beach at the campsite. It is located by the playground and the Ängen area. Between the sandy beach and the jetty there is a large lawn where you can lie and sunbathe or get active with beach games.

Just 300 meters from the campsite you will find Borgholm's main street with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Skatepark & ​​multi-arena

Near the Kapelludden campsite, you can visit the new skate park in Aktivitetsparken Borgholm, located in Mejeriviken on Öland. The park is a modern concrete park with a lovely flow, perfect for everyone who loves skateboarding, BMX, inline and scooters. In addition to the concrete park, there is an asphalt street surface equipped with rail, manual pad and curb.

Directly next to the campsite you will find Borgholm Bowls – a perfect activity that works for all ages. So bring the whole family or gather a group of friends and see who can roll the best!
