Comfortable cottage holiday on Öland!

At Kapelludden there are cabins for both large and small groups. Our cottage village Gläntan is located on the headland with the sea as a neighbour. Several of the cottages offer a fantastic sea view. All cabins have their own balcony with outdoor furniture and barbecue.

From our cottage village, you are close to the small beach and the playground. In addition, the pool area attracts with heated pools, comfortable sunbeds, good food and drink and free entry. The pool area is open during the summer, usually from midsummer to mid-August.

Pets are allowed in some cabins.

As we have already mentioned, our cottage area is called Gläntan. There are 41 cabins in three different designs to choose from.

Gläntan Superior – an exclusive cabin experience on Öland

Our most newly built cottage in our Gläntan series. This is a cabin for those who want full comfort during their holiday here on Öland. Here you have a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room with a spacious sofa and TV.

Gläntan Superior Mini – a smaller cabin with everything you want

Just like our superior cabin, this is a completely newly built cabin that has everything you need during your vacation. Perfect for the smaller family or couple who just want to enjoy everything Öland has to offer.

Gläntan Classic – a classic Öland camping cabin

Our oldest cabin series - this is a classic camping cabin with a simpler kitchen and living room. Available with sea view.

Gläntan Radhus – a spacious cottage right by the water

The townhouses were renovated for the 2024 season. Everything was replaced except for the bathroom. This five-bed accommodation is perfect for the family that wants comfort and proximity to everything. The terraced house has a sea view.

The limestone-rich soil on Öland gives life to a variety of species, which makes every visit a journey of discovery. And it is right here, in the middle of the unbeatable nature, that Kapelludden's cabins invite you to peaceful days.

The benefits of cottage life

Living in a cabin offers an invaluable closeness to nature, a vital part of relaxation. You wake up to the song of birds, instead of the noise of the city.

Kapelludden Camping is located by the beach, near Borgholm's Badhus, and offers a perfect balance between proximity to both the beach and city life. The campsite has sites for caravans, mobile homes, and tents, with access to electricity and often also water and sewage. Facilities include a service house with laundry facilities and a kitchen, as well as a seaside sauna. For children there is a playground and swimming school, and even dogs are welcome. The campsite has its own shallow beach and a heated pool area, as well as opportunities for volleyball, tennis and bicycle rental.

In central/northern Öland is Kapelludden, an oasis that offers - peace and quiet in cozy cottages on Öland.

The proximity to nature, the calming waves of the sea and a private terrace to enjoy, make the cabins at Kapelludden an obvious retreat.

Kapelludden camping is part of Borgholm's campsites. In addition to Kapelludden, Borgholms Badhus, Klinta, Grönhag and Köpingbaden camping are under our umbrella.
